New York Tibetans and Supporters Protest Olympic Torch Relay in Tibet
Over 700 Tibetans and their supporters gathered on Tuesday, June 17th to protest China’s parading of the Olympic torch through Tibet and called for immediate media access to Tibetan areas. The protest was aimed at inspiring Tibet supporters worldwide one day before a Global Day of Action called by Tibet activists for June 18th.
